Week 18: happiness project

Reading plan gift of words

HW: Make a reading plan for the break.

Class started with me walking to my seat and with Jason asking what I did to my knee. I told him I fell in rugby. I do not care what people say. I fell unlike last time that why I got so hurt this time. Anyways, I got chosen to do the blog and Asal ask me to do it. Later in class, as I was zoning out. Asal asked me to write more, but I just said I was thinking. Zack only got books under 10,000 words. Also, Lena told me, she had 1,000,000 words and read all the Harry Potter books. Also, Asal kept saying things I had to correct. Solomon was not reading his book. We had to write in our reading plan. Asal wanted to be here to help but has really just made things harder. Lena then said she only had seventy seven thousand words. Then, Asal asked me to let her write for a little bit. As I was trying to type I accidentally hit Bennett's elbow, which he had cut during rugby. The class was silent during our reader's workshop. I couldn't write much because I spent the most time correcting Bennett.

All Make Up Work Due: Wednesday 12/17

We walked into class and watched the take a minute, which was a snowman box breathing exercise. We had Demetrius read the blog on Tuesday, and he chose me, but we had the final exam, so we waited until the next day for us to start ours. Ms. Nakada told me to walk up to the desk and I called Asal up to do the blog with me. Ms. Nakada passed out a few new Happiness notes for the people who didn't have them anymore, and then she signed me into the blog. 

We wrote Our happiness notes and then Ms. Nakada told us to look at our cursive alphabet paper and we wrote them into our notebooks. As another option we were allowed to write a reflection letter to explain what we have learned in this class. Me and Aidan both decided to try to write the cursive letters. Then, Ms. Nakada gave us some extra time to try writing our own hand lettering. after that we packed up and left for lunch.

HW:Final Exam Tomorrow!

We started of class with everyone walking in and Everyone had sat down.Then a little after Zack and Solomon kept trying to pick Kate for the blog but most people in the class said she did it,So Zack had forgot who to pick AND JOSEPH HAD TO TALK and say it was me,(nice one Joseph).And it seemed like Zack pretended he didn't hear Joseph.

NaNo Submissions Due Friday!!

We started off the day with a cool down and then, Kaiden and Bennet's blog. Kaiden went on to chose me for the blog and I chose Zack to do it with me. Then, we went to lines and Shalom was being annoying and touching me. Lena randomly said that the guy on the board looked like Sturt. Lucas was being very smart and kept getting the questions right 👅👅. Ms Nakada asked us about our stories and the called us good students😓😈😼 Ms.Nakada went on to tell us about how people would tell her that this year's eighth graders were gonna be hard to control. Ms. Nakada told us that we were not that bad. She went on to talk about AI. We then moved on to Inside Out & Back Again. We had six minutes to read as many poems as we could and take notes on them.

NaNo Submissions

HW: Novel Submissions

Kaiden was in his seat doing his thing then he got picked to the blog, and he asked me to do it with him. I only went with him so I could do something else. 

I sat down and waiting a couple of minutes for Ms. Nakada to log us in the Blogger post thing and was trying to multitask writing in my notebook and doing the blog. I tried to see what she wrote on the screen but the sunlight blocked it, and I couldn't see the words. Kaiden was failing to do his multitask but still did it anyway. I was not being mean I was just stating what happened Ms. Nakada. Even though Kaiden was going to do the blog I was doing most of the this post so far. Then, we started to talk about the poems and the brothers in the book. I answered some questions about the poems in the book, and Zack and Stuart were talking about a clock being off which wasn't a part of what we were talking about. Ms. Nakada told us to read a book in front of our parents. We then switched to our NaNo Submissions, and I wondered to myself how much Inside Out & Back Again cost because I really liked it and the poems. I did not get to read it, Kaiden. Really? We ended the day buying pizza.

We then updated our independent reading logs. Next, A couple of classmates and I went to the Library and picked out a book to read for readers' workshop. Lastly, we worked on NaNoWriMo submisions notes.

We started off class with my king Joseph and me walking into class. Then, I sat at my seat and Johnny had to pick his person for the blog from 2 weeks ago. He originally was gonna pick Alexandra, but instead chose me. For the most part of class, Ms. Nakada forgot to sign into my computer to do the blog, but it's ok I forgive her. My smart beautiful king Jo Jo Bear doesn't like the blog very much but its ok he didn't do anything. Oh and we choose Jackson or Kaiden or Both or Solomon.
