reader's workshop
I came into class on time and then sat down.
Josiah read his blog and then Ms. Nakada corrected it. She then explained the board of things that'll tell us what's going on that week. Then some kid screamed in the hallway and Ms. Nakada went out in the hallway for a moment. Then the office called and picture day forms were handed out. She then wrote on her notebook, "Week one: grammar, Quote, song, lines P1" explaining some grammar things. Then she wrote the quote on the board, "To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you into something else is the greatest accomplishment. Ralph Waldo Emerson" she then asked the class what they thought it meant. Then she explained why she wrote the stuff sloppy and in pencil because she didn't want people to copy her. She explained how the world is trying to make you fit in but you should be true to yourself. She then asked that people tell the people at they're table they're hopes. And then the day was over.
