NaNoWriMo: Day 18
Week 15: Question
Writer's Workshop
[HW] NaNoWriMo 60%
6,000 - 12,000 words!
We started class off by walking into the room with Ms. Nakada greeting us like always. When we got inside we sat in our seats, and Zack immediately started accusing me of cheating in happy ball. After Zack finished talking, Ms. Nakada asked Bennett what parent he preferred to be contacted about his novel, and he said his dad. The class was quiet, for the most part, and Ms. Nakada asked more people which parent she should call. Ms. Nakada checked everyone's word count and added it to the chart.
Ms. Nakada explained that the other class was doing the twenty-day plan. Then, there was some distractions in the right side of the class. We started writing in our notes. Our question this week was "When has an end been a kind of beginning?" We discussed The Long Way Down as a potential answer to the question. Another potential answer was the death of a character or person.
Stuart mentioned Squid Games when we talked about death and someone mentioned horror movies. We talked about how change is also an end of something and the beginning of another, and Ms. Nakada used graduation as an example. after we finished talking about beginning and ending we started our 10 minute writer's Workshop. Stuart spoiled the ending to his book, which was the main character dying by getting impaled by a spike, but Asal cut him off before he could spoil anything else. Johnny was looking up pictures of people in South Park and talking about someone eating something big. Joseph was drawing instead of writing and didn't even have his computer out and neither did Solomon. Ms. Nakada asked Solomon which parent she should call and he said Seth and then talked back. Zack walked back into the class after being gone for a while and Zack played dumb about where he had been.
that's all for our blog! we choose KATE!!
