Week 3: Lines
HW: Read p. 100-185 of School Trip by Tuesday.
Today, we all walked into Ms. Nakada's classroom, and I was scared that I was going to get chosen to do the blog, but I tried to forget about it, because I had to write down the agenda, and then I tried to calm my nerves with the video Ms. Nakada played before the blog corrections.
Then, Sandra got up and went to read her incredibly long blog to the class, and after about two minutes of reading; she chose me to do it, because I apparently found it, "humorous" that she got chosen to do the previous blog, which I was so confused about, because I wasn't even laughing at all, so I don't know what she was thinking.
After that, we began to do our lines, and Jason decided to distract me from doing the blog, but at least Bennett gave me advice on what to do. While that was happening, we were cutting and putting our lines in our English notebooks, and Zack was struggling to put the lines in his notebook, so Ms. Nakada went over there to give him some, "friendly advice" on how to put it in.
Then, Ms. Nakada began giving a short lesson about what an analogy was and what the lines were about, I kept staring at Sandra because she chose me for the blog, which I still can't believe why she did, but it's whatever.
Later on, Ms. Nakada and the class reviewed New Kid, and she talked about Straight Outta Compton and N.W.A. and then Zack asked, "What does it mean?" referring to what N.W.A. meant, but Ms. Nakada thought he wanted somebody to say the n-word. Then, she kept on giving the lesson which Malakai found boring, and then I heard Sandra and Rain laughing for no reason. Then, we packed up and headed out for lunch. P.S: Rain you're going to be the next blogger.
